The Crown e Estrelas Além do Tempo brilham no SAG Awards

Em cerimônia realizada em Los Angeles na noite de domingo (29), o Sindicato de Atores de Hollywood escolheram os melhores intérpretes do ano. O prêmio de melhor elenco ficou com Estrelas Além do Tempo, drama indicado a Melhor Filme no Oscar, e que traz as atrizes Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe e Taraji P.Henson nos papéis principais, além de Kevin Costner, Kim Parsons e Kirsten Dunst.

 

Na categoria melhor atriz, Emma Stone foi premiada novamente por La La Land, já acumulando três estatuetas pelo filme. Denzel Washington ficou com o prêmio de melhor ator e Viola Davis com atriz coadjuvante por Um Limite Entre Nós. Mahershala Ali venceu em melhor ator coadjuvante por Moonlight. Histórico, todas as categorias principais foram dominadas por atores negros.

 

Já em televisão, Stranger Things venceu como melhor elenco de série dramática, mas Claire Foy ficou com o prêmio de melhor atriz dramática  e John Lithgow com o de melhor ator, ambos por The Crown. Já melhor elenco de série cômica ficou com Orange is the New Black e Julia Louis-Dreyfuss venceu na categoria melhor atriz de comédia, de novo, por Veep.

 

Em melhor atriz em filme para a TV ou minissérie, Sarah Paulson foi premiada novamente por The People vs. OJ Simpson. A atriz venceu todas as vezes em todas as premiações em que disputou com este papel.
